SRX4966076: Genome sequencing of the holosporalean 'Candidatus Finniella inopinata'

Design: DNA extraction of total gDNA from axenic cultures of Viridiraptor invadens strain Virl02 (the host of Candidatus Finniella inopinata) was carried out with the ZR Fungal/Bacterial DNA MicroPrep Kit (Zymo Research) using a BIO101/Savant FastPrep FP120 high-speed bead beater and 20 uL of proteinase K (20 mg/mL). A sequencing library was made using the NEBNext Ultra II DNA Library Prep Kit (New England Biolabs). Culturing was done by Sebastian Hess (Centre for Comparative Genomics and Evolutionary Bioinformatics, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada). DNA isolation, sequencing, and assembly was performed by Sergio A. Munoz-Gomez (Centre for Comparative Genomics and Evolutionary Bioinformatics, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada).
