SRX3204147: Bacterial community of Oculina patagonica
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina MiSeq) run: 133,294 spots, 79.1M bases, 53.4Mb downloads

Design: Genomic DNA was isolated and 16S gene amplicons were generated using the 27F/518R primer set. Amplicons were sequenced on Illumina MiSeq at MR DNA (Shallowater, Texas, USA). Files provided are the raw data. Illumina MiSeq files were downloaded from BaseSpace and processed using the Fastq Processor program from MR DNA to split by sample. Barcode sequence: CTACGCTG, Primer forward sequence: AGRGTTTGATCMTGGCTCAG, Primer reverse sequence: GTATTACCGCGGCTGCTGG.

Study: Oculina patagonica - microbiome (16S rRNA) and diazotrophs (nifH) - Raw sequence reads
show Abstracthide Abstract
This project aimed to study the nitrogen fixation and translocation processes in the Mediterranean coral Oculina patagonica. Overall bacterial communities (16S rRNA gene) and diazotroph communities (nifH) were investigated
Sample: Sample of the mucus of Oculina patagonica. Maintained in aquaria at Centre Scientifique de Monaco for 3 weeks. Amplicon sequencing of bacterial 16S rRNA gene.
