Study: Wild rice O. rufipogon variations
show Abstracthide Abstract
Wild rice Oryza rufipogon is the wild species from which the cultivated rice O. sativa has been domesticated. It is widely grown spontaneously from the tropical and sub-tropical zones in Asia and Oceania. Rich in ecological and geographical variations. Due to the complicated variation of inter- and intra-species there have so far been many confusions in taxonomy and nomenclature. In order to study genomic diversity of the species, we sequenced a total of twenty-one O. rufipogon accessions by Illumina HiSeq 2500.
Sample: W1921 genome
