Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) were isolated from blood samples taken from healthy male subjects before, immediately after, and 60 minutes after 30 minutes of exercise. Brisk activation and deactivation of genes associated with stress, inflammation, and tissue repair observed.
