Analysis of skeletal muscle biopsies from monozygotic female twin pairs (55-62 years) discordant for estrogen-based, HRT (2-16 years). Results provide insight into molecular mechanisms underlying the beneficial effects of long-term HRT on skeletal muscle characteristics.
