Analysis of Pseudomonas aeruginosa cultures exposed to the macrolide azithromycin (AZM). P. aeruginosa infection is the major cause of morbidity and mortality in cystic fibrosis patients. Results provide insight into mechanisms underlying the beneficial role of AZM therapy in infection control.
