This study describes the design, application and implementation of the NeuroChip genotyping platform. The NeuroChip (Illumina) is an affordable, high-throughput genotyping array that contains a tagging variant backbone (n ~ 300,000 variants) as well as manually curated custom variant content. These custom variants have been previously reported in diverse neurological diseases. We genotyped 273 neurologically healthy controls to assess genotyping performance and accuracy. Here, we release the raw genotype data of these control individuals.
