Summary:
This program begins with a brief description of the normal function of skin. Then various skin diseases are presented and their clinical features described. Emphasis is placed on the features of the skin diseases which aid in distinguishingthem from other skin diseases. The treatment or management of each disease is briefly discussed. The following skin problems are described and demonstrated: acne, dermagraphism, urticaria, allergic reaction to penicillin, tinea versicolor, tinea cruris, tinea of the hands and feet, onychomycosis, fungus, psoriasis, eczema, plantar warts, condylomata accumulata, pediculosis pubis, folliculitis, contact dermatitis, neurodermatitis, pyoderma, and cellulitis.
