Keshan disease [Supplementary Concept]

Congestive cardiomyopathy that may be associated with a dietary deficiency of SELENIUM or infection by COXSACKIE B VIRUSES. It is most prevalent in rural Chinese populations, especially in young boys and women of childbearing age.
