Sample requirements

Oropharyngeal Swab or Nasopharyngeal Swab Sample – Sample Requirements: Collect using standard procedure for selected sample type/kit. Label each specimen with at least two unique identifiers that match the order paperwork (e.g. - patient first and last name; DOB; MRN). Store specimens at 2-8°C and ship overnight at ambient temperature or on ice pack (preferred). Extracted RNA sample – Sample Requirements: Samples must contain a MINIMUM of 50 µl of RNA, with 80-100µl preferred. Label each specimen with at least two unique identifiers that match the order paperwork (e.g. - patient first and last name; DOB; MRN). Store specimens on dry ice and ship overnight. Send Completed TRF and Collected Sample to: Fulgent Genetics, 4978 Santa Anita Ave, Temple City, CA 91780
