Sample GSM832680 Query DataSets for GSM832680
Status Public on Jan 20, 2012
Title BrdU-IP-seq fkh1Δfkh1Δ 1
Sample type SRA

Source name BrdU-IP-seq fkh1Δfkh1Δ
Organism Saccharomyces cerevisiae
Characteristics strain: fkh1Δfkh2Δ
cell stage: 1hr HU arrest after release from 4hr α-factor arrest
Treatment protocol BrdU-Incorperated-DNA was extracted as described in Viggiani et al. 2010, Cold Spring Harbor Protocols.
Growth protocol Cells grown in YEPD at room temp with α-factor for 4 hours. Then cells were spun down and resuspended in YEPD+HU+BrdU and grown for 1hr prior to harvesting.
Extracted molecule genomic DNA
Extraction protocol Samples were prepared for sequencing using Illumina chIP-seq protocol.

Library strategy ChIP-Seq
Library source genomic
Library selection ChIP
Instrument model Illumina Genome Analyzer II

Description BrdU-IP-DNA from HU arrested S. cerevisiae cells
Data processing Reads were mapped allowing 2 mismatches to the S. cerevisiae genome (release r.64). Reads were then binned into 50 bp bins, quantile normalized across experiments and median smoothed with a 50 bp window.
