STAR 2.6.1 Sequencing reads underwent quality and adaptor contamination checks both before and after trimming using FastQC 0.11.9. Trim Galore 0.6.5 was then employed to eliminate low-quality reads (Q <20), polyA reads, ambiguous reads containing N, and those shorter than 20 nt, while Cutadapt 1.7.1 was used to trim adapters from the remaining reads. Trimmed sequence reads were mapped to a concatenated genome (Hypbu1+B05. 10). Parameters (Mismatch= (--outFilterMismatchNmax 10) The GeneCounts function from STAR was used to obtain read counts Assembly: Hypbu1 and B05. 10 Supplementary files format and content: tab-delimited txt file for each timepoint
