The RNA-seq reads were trimmed using Trim Galore (v0.6.4) and then mapped to the mm10 reference genome with HISAT2 (v2.2.1) , and StringTie (v2.2.1) was used to quantify the transcription level of each gene in each sample into FPKM (Fragments per kilobase of exon model per million mapped reads). GFOLD (v1.1.4) was used to perform differential expression analysis between conditions. The differentially expressed genes were identified with gfold value > 0.5.
