Sample GSM72232 Query DataSets for GSM72232
Status Public on Mar 01, 2006
Title Med7 ORF-2
Sample type genomic

Channel 1
Source name CHIP IP Med7-2 ORF
Organism Schizosaccharomyces pombe
Characteristics IP sample med7-TAP
Extracted molecule genomic DNA
Label cy5

Channel 2
Source name WCE
Organism Schizosaccharomyces pombe
Characteristics WCE of Med7-TAP
Extracted molecule genomic DNA
Label cy3

Description IgG beads were used for ChIP of chromatin

extracts from Med7-TAP cells. Cell cultures

were then grown to mid logarithmic growth

phase (5 x106 cells/ml) in rich medium before

fixation and ChIP. The resulting ChIP DNA was

labeled with Cy5. The wCE control ChIP DNA was

labeled with Cy3 and simultaneously hybridized

with the Cy5 labeled DNA to the IGR+ORF

microarrays to produce genome wide mediator

occupancy profile.
