Total RNA was extracted from sorted cells using QIAGEN Rneasy Plus Mini Kit and concentrations were quantified using NanoDrop. Libraries were prepared by the Harvard Medical School's Biopolymers Facility via KAPA HyperPrep with Ribo-Erase Library Prep

Reads were mapped to mouse genome GRCm38 using STAR Aligner and gene-based readcounts were generated using featureCounts. Differential gene expression was performed in edgeR after library size normalization. CPM values were compared.
