RNA was purified from HeLa cells in double thymidine (0) and cells released into the cell cycle after washing out the thymidine. RNA was collected from cells at 2, 4, 6, 8 and 12 hours after washing out the thymidine.

Trizol extraction of total RNA was performed according to the manufacturer's instructions. The RNA was then Dnase treated and purified using Qiagen Rneasy columns.
