The adaptor sequences and low quality bases were trimmed from the reads using the Trim Galore tool ver. 0.6.5. Reads were aligned to the mouse genome using the Bismark alignment software. The percentage of bisulfite converted cytosines (representing unmethylated cytosines) and non-converted cytosines (representing methylated cytosines) was calculated by bismark_methylation_extractor Genome_build: hg38 Supplementary_files_format_and_content: bedgraph
