Sample GSM4889325 Query DataSets for GSM4889325
Status Public on Nov 10, 2020
Title Fibroblast 1 year replicate 5
Sample type SRA

Source name PDGFR⍺ cardiac fibroblasts
Organism Mus musculus
Characteristics tissue: PDGFR⍺ cardiac fibroblasts
cell type: PDGFRalpha cardiac fibroblasts
strain: C57Bl/6
age: 1-year old
Extracted molecule polyA RNA
Extraction protocol Animals post-natal day 1, 4 weeks, 14 weeks, 1 year and 1.5 years old were used for determination of gene expression analysis. PDGFR⍺ cardiac fibroblasts were isolated by flow cytometry from hearts of animals at the above respective ages to determine changes in gene expression in cardiac fibroblasts.
RNA was isolated from the heart tissue or cardiac fibroblasts using RNeasy Mini kit (Qiagen) and used to generate RNA-Seq libraries followed by sequencing using Illumina 4000 platform.

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 4000

Description F-1Y-5
Data processing The reads were mapped with STAR 2.5.3a to the mouse genome (mm10).
The counts for each gene were obtained by using –quantMode GeneCounts commands in STAR, and the other parameters during alignment were set to default.
Genome_build: mm10
Supplementary_files_format_and_content: Matrix table with raw gene counts for every gene and every sample
