Each laboratory was provided with aliquots of two different RNA samples that were prepared in one of the Consortium laboratories - a sample prepared from mouse livers (Liver RNA), and a sample prepared from equal amounts of RNA isolated from five mouse tissues (liver, kidney, lung, brain and spleen: Pooled RNA).
