Liver tissue samples were homogenized in TRIZOL and purified by RNA Clean & concentrator (Zymo research). RNA libraries were generated using SMARTer® Stranded Total RNA Sample Prep Kits (Takara Bio) according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Data processing |
Basecalls performed using CASAVA version 1.82. RNA-seq reads were filtered for quality and 3' trimmed for adapter sequences. RNA-seq reads were aligned to the mm10 genome assembly using hisat2 with default parameters. Transcript abundances were estimated reported as raw read counts using featureCounts. Differential expression was analyzed using R script. Genome_build: mm10 (GRCm38) Supplementary_files_format_and_content: *txt: Tab-delimited text files include read counts for each sample.
