Data processing Read-Alignment: Short-read sequences generated from Illumina Sequencer were aligned to the UCSC human reference genome hg19 downloaded from ( using TopHat from the Tuxedo Tools.

Normalization of abundance measurements: The expression matrices were log transformed and normalized using the rlog function in Deseq2 package.
