Agilent Feature Extraction software was used to output the Feature Extraction QC report. RNA Integrity Number (RIN) index was calculated for each sample using Agilent 2100 Expert software. In order to reduce experimental biases in microarray analysis due to poor RNA quality, only RNA samples with RIN number > 4 were further processed.
