Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol E11.5 embryonic hearts from the Nkx2-5 hypomorphic line were dissected and stored in RNAlater (Qiagen). After genotyping, 3 control and 3 hypomorphic samples were selected for total RNA extraction using Trizol and purified on RNeasy column (Qiagen).
Total RNA was converted to a library of template molecule suitable for high throughput DNA sequencing using Truseq kit (Illumina).

Data processing Basecalls performed using CASAVA version 1.4
RNA-seq reads were aligned to the mm9 genome assembly using Tophat.
