Title |
Expression analysis of A549 cells following treatment with conditioned medium from polarized macrophages |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by array
|
Summary |
Tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) are one of the most abundant host immune cells in tumor microenvironments. In this study, we investigated the functional role of M1 and M2 polarized macrophages on cancer cells. Expression microarray and bioinformatics analysis were performed in A549 cells treated with conditioned media from different subtype macrophages.

Overall design |
Lung cancer cells, A549, were cultured in M0, M1, M2 macrophages conditioned media for two days. The different subtype macrophages were differentiated by IFN-gamma, LPS, IL-4 and dexamethasone.
