Title |
Spinal cord single-nuclei RNA sequencing of an EAE mouse model of multiple sclerosis |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
We used the MOG35-55 peptide induction experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) model of multiple sclerosis to determine whether Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibition could attenuate disease-relevant changes to central nervous system gene expression.

Overall design |
Lumbar spinal cord was collected from a C57BL/6 experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) mouse model of multiple sclerosis. Single nuclei RNA sequencing was then performed. A subset of mice had been treated with an inhibitor of Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK) after disease induction.
