Summary |
The goal is to utilize the Nanostring Geomx platform to examine the spatial moecular signature of hidradenitis suppurativa tunnel epithelium compared to the epithelium of a malignant neoplasm, invasive squamous cell carcinoma, and a benign epidermal cyst.

Overall design |
A total of 4 HS, 3 SCC, 3 cyst, and 3 healthy control (HC) samples were collected from surgical archival tissue. Utilizing Nanostring GeoMX Digital Spatial profiler, regions of interst were selected to include epithelium and adjacent stroma in HS tunnels, cyst walls, and SCC epithelium.
