Title Role of FGF23 and DMP1 in osteoblastogenesis in cultured BMSCs at single cell level
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary Primary bone marrow cells from murine long bones were cultured in osteoblastic medium for 21 days. scRNAseq and differential expression analyzes were used to highlight the importance of FGF23 and DMP1 in osteoblastogenesis

Overall design mRNA profiles of differentiated Bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) from wild-type (WT) mice, mice with an osteocyte-specific deletion of Fgf23, harboring a floxed first exon of the Fgf23 gene and expressing a transgene containing a Cre recombinase sequence downstream of the Dmp1 promoter (Fgf23cKO), Dmp1 global knockout mice (Dmp1KO) and compound Dmp1KO/Fgf23cKO mice.
