Title Natural polymorphisms in ZMET2 encoding a DNA methyltransferase modulate the number of husk layers in maize
Organism Zea mays
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Methylation profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary The goals of this study are to investigate the effect of ZMET2 on genome-wide DNA methylation and gene expression.

Overall design RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) and bisulfite sequencing(BS-seq) was performed using ear samples at the early growing stage of wild type and zmet2 mutant plants.
