Title |
Transcriptional dysregulation impairs efficacy of neural stem cell activation during aging [RNA-seq] |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
To identify age-dependent genes of NSCs, we applied bulk RNA sequencing to profile the transcriptomic changes between the young and aged NSCs that were isolated from the brain SVZ.
|
|
|
Overall design |
Primary NSCs were isolated from the subventricular zone of the lateral ventricles (SVZ) in the brains of the young and aged mice, respectively. The isolated NSCs were maintained in the initial proliferation medium and used in total RNA extraction and bulk RNAseq library generation.
