Title Ten-day human unilateral lower limb suspension and active recovery in young healthy men
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary Human skeletal muscle disuse-atrophy is one of the main problems associated with spaceflight, bed rest, lower limb unloading, or immobilization. This study investigates the effects of 10-day unilateral lower limb suspension (ULLS) followed by 21 days of active recovery (AR) in young healthy men.

Overall design 9 subjects with 3 time points each (baseline, 10-day ULLS, 21-day AR), 2 subjects with 2 time points each (baseline, 10-day ULLS), sequenced with RNA-Seq. This submission consists of 31 paired-end RNA-Seq samples.
