Title Differentially Expressed Mitochondrial Circulating mRNA in Hypothyroidism Could Be Useful as a Survivor Biomarker in Nonthyroidal Illness Syndrome
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary RNA libraries were constructed from whole blood. We called hypothyroidism differentially expressed genes with the Noiseq. We found a total of 4,197 transcripts regulated by the thyroid hormone present in the peripheral blood. We also found that three hundred and thirty-six (8.01%) were mitochondrial genes type.

Overall design It was constructed libraries of four subjects with TSH within reference range to compose the control (CTL) group and four hypothyroidism patients (HT).
