Title Total RNA sequencing of cultured splenic PKM2WT and PKM2KO NK cells
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary PKM2 has recently been characterised in macrophages and T cells to play a crucial signalling role, impacting the transcription of downstream metabolic enzymes and effector molecules. We sought to test whether it plays a role in NK cells through whole RNA sequesncing of cells with or without PKM2.

Overall design PKM2 WT and PKM2 KO NK cells were expanded for 6 days with IL-15 and then treated with IL-2/12 or IL-2/12 + vehicle or TEPP-46 (50uM) (PBS) for 18 hours. Total RNA was extracted from 3 biological replicates for each group and was subject to total RNA sequencing.
