Title |
Total RNA sequencing of cultured splenic PKM2WT and PKM2KO NK cells |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
PKM2 has recently been characterised in macrophages and T cells to play a crucial signalling role, impacting the transcription of downstream metabolic enzymes and effector molecules. We sought to test whether it plays a role in NK cells through whole RNA sequesncing of cells with or without PKM2.

Overall design |
PKM2 WT and PKM2 KO NK cells were expanded for 6 days with IL-15 and then treated with IL-2/12 or IL-2/12 + vehicle or TEPP-46 (50uM) (PBS) for 18 hours. Total RNA was extracted from 3 biological replicates for each group and was subject to total RNA sequencing.
