Title 10x single-cell RNAseq profiling of CD45+ melanoma-infiltrating leukocytes from APOE2 and APOE4 knock-in mice
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary APOE germline genotype modulates the tumor immune microenvironment. In APOE4 relative to APOE2 mice, there is shift towards an anti-tumor immune phenotype, with an increased ratio of immune effector to immunosuppressive cells.

Overall design Examination of the immune tumor microenvironment of YUMM1.7 melanomas hosted by APOE2 versus APOE4 knock-in mice. CD45+ cells were sorted from dissociated melanomas and 10,000 cells each from 6 mice were pooled for each genotype.
