Summary |
Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) has always been one of the most aggressive and invasive malignancies among the numerous oral and maxillofacial malignancies. we collected three tumorous and adjacent tissues from OSCC sufferers, and we obtained differentially expressed genes (DEGs) via high throughput RNA sequence.

Overall design |
We obtained 229 DEGs between tumor and normal tissues. Function and pathway enrichment analyses for DEGs were conducted to find correlation between tumorigenesis status and differentially expressed genes.Protein interaction network and molecular complex detection were constructed to find meaningful modules. Two core modules were enriched in MCODE. The diagnostic and prognostic values of the candidate genes were analyzed, which provide evidence for the candidate genes as new tumor markers.
