Overall design Cochleae from 3 mice homozygous for a 10bp deletion in intron 5 of the Hgf gene and 3 wild-type littermates. Total RNA extracted, converted to cDNA, fragmented to make Illumina libraries and sequenced (93x93 PE) on an Illumina HiSeq1500. Reads were mapped to the mouse genome (GRCm38.vM11) with STAR, and differential gene expression analyzed with DeSeq2.
