Title |
Astrocyte alterations that accompany neuroinflammation induced anhedonia |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
The Khakh laboratory sequenced RNA from both whole and astrocyte specific RNAs from mouse prefrontal cortex and visual cortex by using Aldh1l1-CreERT2 - RiboTag mice. RNA was purified from controls and LPS injected mice, 1, 2 and 14 days after the injection.

Overall design |
Mice were injected i.p. with PBS or LPS (5 mg/kg). 1, 2 and 14 days after the injection PFC and VCX were homogenized and RNA was purified from (i) cleared lysate as the input, and (ii) astrocyte-specific ribosome-associated RNA precipitated via a hemagglutinin (HA) tag. LPS samples were compared to PBS samples. PFC samples were compared to VCX samples.
