Title Expression profiling by RNA-Seq of adipose tissue in mice after partial nephrectomy and administration of pNaKtide

Summary We performed expression profiling by RNA-Seq on C57BL6 mice at 10 weeks of age. Mice were divided into four groups and either underwent partial nephrectomy (PNx) or sham (CTR) operation, and were adminstered either pNaKtide (NaK) or GFP.
Overall design RNA was extracted from adipose tissue from six 10-week old mice in each group; PNx-GFP, CTR-GFP, PNx-GFP, or PNx-NaK, and sequenced in a 2x50 base-pair design on an Illumina 1500 sequencer.
