Summary Gene expression signature can be used to predict treatment efficacy in various types of tumour. We aim to identify a gene expression signature to predict efficacy of induction chemotherapy (IC) in patients with locoregionally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma (LA-NPC).
Overall design Using Affymetrix Human Transcriptome Arrays 2.0, we profiled the gene expression between 71 LA-NPC tumor tissues with response to induction chemotherapy and 24 LA-NPC tumor tissues with no-response to induction chemotherapy to identify induction chemotherapy efficacy-related genes.
