Summary Human astrocytes can be efficiently reprogrammed into functional neurons in culture by the addition of four small molecules. RNA-seq was performed to assess transcriptome alterations at different time points to characterize the molecular mechanisms.
 
Overall design RNA profiles of small molecule-treated human astrocyte culture at 6 time points throughout reprogramming, 3 replicates each.
