Summary |
Germ-free wild-type mice (GFWT) were inoculated with the commensal CEC (CECWT) or probiotic Nissle 1917 (NissleWT) E. coli strain. Mono-colonized mice, CECWT and NissleWT, were sacrificed 21 days post-inoculation and the ileal and colonic gene expression profiles analyzed by high-throughput qPCR using TaqMan OpenArrays.

Overall design |
qPCR gene expression profiling. Ileal mucosafrom germfree mice were used as control. Equal amount total RNA from each mouse was pooled prior to gene expression analysis.
