Summary Transposable elements act as promiscuous cryptic promoters that upregulate oncogenes (“onco-exaptation”) in many cancers.
 
Overall design OmniATAC-seq were generated for H1299 lung cancer cell line. RNA-seq, WGBS-seq and omniATAC-seq were generated for H838 lung cancer cell line. nanoCAGE-seq was generated for H727 lung cancer cell line.
