The crab-eating macaque
Macaca fascicularis is also commonly known as the cynomolgus monkey or cynomolgous macaque. Native to Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, crab-eating macaques are closely related to rhesus macaques but have a smaller body size and higher susceptibility to stress as well as other physiological and immunological differences.
