    we featured the expression patterns of MT1s in tissue obtained from various points along the spectrum of hepatocarcinogenesis. Most MT1 members were down-regulated, and MT1X were associated with HCC prognosis. Additionally, MT1X was shown to play a suppressive role in HCC metastasis.
