    HOXA-AS3 interacts with NF-kB and promotes the activation of NF-kB signaling through mediation of its target genes expression. Also, the expression of HOXA-AS3 is dramatically elevated in patients with atherosclerosis compared with the control group, suggesting a significant positive correlation of HOXA-AS3 with inflammatory atherosclerosis. HOXA-AS3 may serve as a crucial biomarker for the diagnosis of atherosclerosis.
