Involved in positive regulation of cold-induced thermogenesis and positive regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Acts upstream of or within several processes, including adipose tissue development; brown fat cell differentiation; and positive regulation of DNA-templated transcription. Predicted to be located in nucleoplasm. Is expressed in several structures, including branchial arch; central nervous system; embryo mesenchyme; genitourinary system; and sensory organ.
