Annotation information
Note: LOC103690065 appears to be a duplicate placement of Thpo (GeneID: 81811) on Rnor_6.0 (Annot. Release 105) that is absent from Rn_Celera and is not supported by syntenic regions in mouse and human. Additionally, the annotation of nearby genes at this location including LOC100912534, LOC100912455, LOC100912498 and LOC100912571, all located on underlying component AABR07034658.1, also lack support by syntenic regions in mouse and human and annotation on Rn_Celera. 2-sequence BLAST of LOC103690065 underlying component AABR07034658.1 against Thpo underlying components AABR07072260.1 and AC110855.6 shows high sequence identity (100%). BLAST analysis of LOC103690065 underlying component AABR07034658.1 against the rat genome shows high sequence identity with NC_005110.4 (100% across ~48 kb) corresponding to the region on which Thpo is annotated. This data suggests that LOC103690065 is a duplicate placement and the placement of AABR07034658.1 here is an assembly error. [17 Mar 2015]
