The objectives of this project are to collect information on the current inventory of large volumetric infusion pumps used in Canada and to understand nurses’ perception of the usability of large volumetric infusion pumps in Canadian hospitals. The current study will also seek to identify possible trends from previous surveys associated with the usability of infusion pumps. This study did not require research ethics approval by the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH).
