NOTE: This graph indicates the relative role of changes in DHEA/S and testosterone at different stages of the development of males from age 8 to 25. Both the young adult and juvenile stages are marked by changes in DHEA/S without changes in testosterone, whereas during adolescent both hormones are increasing.
