Food Surveys Research Group (FSRG) Dietary Data Briefs are short reports focusing on a single topic summarizing key results from What We Eat in America, the dietary intake component of the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). They present nationally representative estimates of food and nutrient intake of the U.S. population. The Dietary Data Briefs are designed in an easy-to-read format with graphics that illustrate comparisons across sociodemographic groups and/or survey years. This series complements the data briefs produced by the National Center for Health Statistics, CDC.
