Meyerding Subluxation Grading Applied to the Cervical Spine. This image series shows how the Meyerding system may be used to classify cervical subluxation. Grade 1 involves vertebral translation of up to 25%. Grade 2 has vertebral translation of up to 50%. Grade 3 involves vertebral translation of up to 75%. Complete ptosis or collapse of one vertebral body over another is classified as Grade 5.
